Johnny Depp and Amber Heard apologised for bringing their dogs in to Australia and affirmed the importance of the country’s biosecurity in a video posted to the Facebook page of the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia, Barnaby Joyce.

Depp and Heard appeared in a Gold Coast court on Monday, April 18, where Heard pleaded guilty to falsifying quarantine documents before flying their two Yorkshire terriers, Pistol and Boo, into Australia on their private jet in April 2015, to visit Depp while he was filming Pirates of the Caribbean. Heard received a one month good behaviour bond without conviction.
